my ex said “if you have enough to buy good camera, expensive one and good lens, you can be professional. you can take photo professional quality”
also i have seen a youtube video, a professional photographer and he said “what is big difference professional and non-professional people? the answer is the economic resource. and he has to know how to use it. he has to know which lens to use, which camera to use for the situation and for the client.”
yep this is very understandable but i got big question on my head.
means, you don’t have any sense, any taste for that?
when i heard that, i thought, maybe he doesn’t have self confidence as a professional photographer. or maybe he just don’t believe his own taste, sense for beauty. if so, this is very sad. and also he’s sending wrong message to people who watching his youtube video.
you don’t have to have a lot of fancy camera, lenses, lights, equipment for photo shooting.
if you’re freelance, maybe you’d better have some but no need to have a lots of it.
the point is that you have to have ability to chose what you need to do to make your project succeed. to have that ability all you have to do is just have more experience. that’s all. so you don’t have to be a rich.
this is not just about photo shooting. i can say this to all kinds of field.
to be profession of something, you don’t have to be rich.
not youtube video, read more books, get more inspiration, meet some people in the field, get more advice, realize those advices doesn’t helpful, learn and improve yourself. that’s all. so you don’t have to have a lots of money from the first place.
what’s the difference of professional and hobby level people?
professional is always studying, always looking for something new, and they know there’s always something to learn. and they know how to give. hobby level people always want to be like professional but don’t know what to do. but they are enjoying it.
i think i can say same thing to any kind of field.
am i wrong? lol
