when i go somewhere popular spot by amateur photographers, most of them check each others camera when they pass by.
this type of thing happens, you can see at gym. or around the gym lol.
and yes, size matter – yeah i guess you can imagine easily too. hahaha!
guys are always comparing. this is very boring and sometimes it’s so annoying lol.
there is a guy i know, his using APS-C. and i think his photography is awesome. he knows how to shoot, timing, editing, coloring, there’re so much to learn from him.
but he compares with my camera. he compares full size and APS-C.i don’t understand why.
Micro Four Thirds, APS-C, Full size sensor, whatever you use, you have to pick up which one is best for you.
I don’t believe “bigger is better”.
it sounds like size queen but this matter also just fantasy.
purpose and function, these matching is way more important.
if you want to capture the details of tree, flower, or wrinkles on face, maybe you need a full size but if you take landscape, street photography, Micro four thirds or maybe APS-C is good.
if you take landscape by full size, sometimes too much information, too much details on it. so sometimes photographer has to edit lower clarity to kill some details.
many people believe “bigger is better”not just sensor size.ISO range.
if you could set really high ISO, you can shoot in very dark.
yes but what about noise processing capacity? if this function is not high enough, you will see many noise on your star photo or night street photo.
it’s all about balance.
people are always trying to understand or take it with just their knowledge.
i’ve been working as system manager / engineer for over ten years, so i can say this.
when you buy a new one, you take a look pamflett or check their website or youtube, that’s ok but if you don’t want to fail to buy, you need to check related function of the main function.
anyway size doesn’t matter. yeah maybe in future, providing micro four thirds might be stopped, APS-C might be stopped. maybe, maybe not.
but if it happens, i guess full size sensor will be changed or maybe around the system will be updated.
i know you want to shoot anything you want. but at each place, time, there has be to proper sensor size, camera model, lenses, etc. and all you have to do is find out which one to use, which one is best choice at the time and place.
