There are many things, equipment, and machines in our world, and there are also machines and factories for making them.
this might be nothing special but I think it’s amazing.
I would like to say thank you to the nerds, on this blog. This is something I’ve always wanted to write.
I met an engineer many years ago. I won’t write what kind of engineer he is but at that time he was one of the only few engineers in Japan.
People who don’t know him, he looks he always wear dirty clothes, greasy hair that looks like unwashed for days, and hisi face also looks like he doen’t wash his face or maybe his teeth for days.
He was always afraid and he couldn’t talk with looking at eyes and he looks like he wants to leave soon.
He talked to me because he was involved in work, and I was surprised at how he was atrophied, even though I wasn’t intimidating.
I’m a system administrator, but I’m not very good at networks, i wasn’t sure that he knows network but I asked him some questions.
and he blew me away.
what surprised me most was how he was talking about it. He gave a surprisingly organized explanation that was very calm, accurate, and easy for me to understand, he was like another person.
I was so impressed. His brief explanation helped me understand the network, which I wasn’t good at.
He is geeky person, but thanks to that geeky temperament, he has contributed to many technological developments and penetrations, and even people like me who are not good at networks can speak easily and understand this.
he told me later, he could see how much i had experience as IT engineer, how much i understand, and my weak spot. that’s why he could explain to me in such way. I thought this is a really great skill.
there are people are like autism, not good at interacting with others, or very clumsy to have communication with others but instead, these people have incredible concentration and inquisitiveness.
Whether it’s medical, car technology, IT, or clothing, in each field has
some specialist and they might be nervous or maybe not good at talking but they might have special talent.
what i want to say is; if there were such people around you and you didn’t know them very well and thought you were a “funny guy” or “strange guy” please remind what i said on this blog.
if you think that he/she looks strange, but he/she might have something special talent which people cannot make it.
so don’t judge by appearance.
