How you look at it

I think there are many different kinds of people who take pictures as a hobby, and if I were to divide them into three overall categories, I would say that there are those who are more interested in the technical aspects, those who want to take pictures with an artistic approach, and those who simply want to take pictures with their thoughts by banging around with a high quality camera that they like. Perhaps there are a few more different types. There are probably a few more different types, but that would be a bit too segmented, so I think this is a good rough classification.

I want to improve my technique, but I still want to take pictures with a strong artistic element.
When I first bought a camera, I used to take pictures without thinking about composition or anything, and I was happy with the quality of the image and the colors, but one day, when I saw a tree in a park, it reminded me of a phrase that I don’t remember exactly whether someone said it or I read it in a book when I was studying psychology.
I don’t know if I read it in a book or not, but it reminded me of a phrase that someone told me when I was studying psychology.
This phrase reminded me of something that I actually used as a metaphor when I was working as a therapist: “Picture an apple. If you look at the same apple from different angles, you will see a different reality.”

Yes, I remembered my own words. Since I became aware of how this tree looks to me, it has become a bit of a question and answer or quest, instead of just taking a picture.
Looking back, it was a very interesting experience, and I continue to ask myself this question.

And now, the question is not “how do I see it” but “how do I want to see it?
I’m not sure if this is the right thing to do. I just want to believe in what comes up from inside of me.
