some people asked me about my photo. “why did you choose this angle for shot? didn’t you think it’s strange or hard to understand what’s in the frame.”
the answer is simply “because i wanted to” lol
someone asked me “why you took only some part of the object?”
because i wanted to do so! lol
My answer is;
Whenever I take a picture, I always imagine a “single-flower vase”.
I am careful to make sure that no extraneous objects are in the frame.
The subjects I photograph are nature, buildings, animals, flowers, etc., just like anyone else does, but I believe that including “my personality” in them is self-expression through photography.
There are many things that are beautiful to look at. There are tons of books on methods and techniques to capture them beautifully, and you can get answers to any number of questions by searching the Internet.
However, there is something else that you can never get other than those techniques and theories.
That is “your personality”.
Sometimes I put a message in my photos.
Sometimes it is important to express your opinion through your photos.
Whether or not the viewer can see it is also a matter of taste on the part of the viewer.
Artistic expression is sometimes like a code, and it is a very pleasant experience when someone is able to decipher it.
The joy of having one’s intentions conveyed is the same for the viewer.
So it doesn’t matter if the angle is strange or easy to understand.
how i shot the object, and is that “me” or not, that’s what i matter.
