biggest challenge

There is something that has been bothering me ever since I started taking pictures.
It’s that most of my photos are taken outdoors, and I don’t take many indoor photos of more familiar things.
Outdoors can be a refreshing change of pace and a fun treasure hunt, but I found it quite challenging to shoot indoors, especially in my own home.
I wish I could have a different point of view, but even if I tried my best, I would either have to shoot from a very one single angle, or take a very close-up shot so that no extraneous objects would be in the frame.
Of course, it’s obvious that my imagination is lacking.
But I am very interested to see how I can face this challenge.

The easiest place to start is the kitchen, right?
I can imagine what I could do with an overhead shot like in a cooking magazine, or with a wide aperture to create a soft effect, or in black and white to create a dramatic effect.
If I could come up with an idea that is none of the above, perhaps I would feel that I have improved.

I shot the heater last winter.
It was a difficult time to go out because of the pandemic (and it still is), and I was trying to figure out what I could shoot at home.
I didn’t think much of it, but it turned out to be a fresh photo for me.
I always try to take better pictures.
That is not a bad thing, but sometimes it is better to just take a picture without any thinking.

I used to draw pictures as a hobby.
At that time, I found that it was better to paint without thinking too much.
I guess I can say the same thing about photography.

However, it’s not that easy!
If I am going to continue taking pictures for years to come, this will be my biggest challenge to myself.
