as written on my web page “tokyokazzo.com”, i recently went to exhibition called “Shinkai” by Hiroyoshi Taira. Shinkai means, deep ocean.
Since his exhibition, plus photobook i saw from my friend Makoto, these experience hit me something. i am grateful for this.
i didn’t realize it but now i can see that was kinda excuse but i have too many stuff in my room and so trying not to buy anymore.
yes it’s books!! i really didn’t want to buy books.
it’s because once you read it no need to read it anymore and they keep taking my space in my room!! so what i decided any years ago, i don’t buy books!
so when someone visit my place and when he found out that there is n book in my room, i believe he thought “oh no books, so maybe he has no brain?” lol yeah kidna right. damn.
not just because keep my space, i was little worry if i had a lot of photo books and peple might think “oh maybe his photo influenced by this or that, etc”
also i dudn’t want to get influenced. so i did’t buy any photo book.
but anyway, since then i can’t stop buying books right now.
by the way, i got 9 books since 2 weeks ago. and i read them all already.
i feel that i want to explore more.
i am looking forward to seeing what comes up from myself.
